Kari Samantha, born in 1967 is an American actor, performer and singer (born on April 28, 1967). She began her acting career when she was a teenager. She is most known for her role as Maggie Beckett on the TV series Sliders, as well as in the role of her character, Sheriff Samantha Parker, in the horror comedy film Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer was raised in Brookfield Connecticut as her mother was Karin Noble and worked as a pay clerk and German American Andrew Wuhrer. She is the mother of three brothers and sisters. When she was a teenager was a nightclub singer, sneaking out of the family home to perform. Following her studies in acting at the Wooster School, at the age of 13, she pursued a degree in drama at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts at Marymount Manhattan College and Columbia University. Then, she took classes in the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts under the renowned Uta Hagen. She was a Brookfield local birthed in Brookfield Connecticut in the 28th day of April, 1967. Kari is the daughter of the father of a German American as well as a mother from Germany. Kari is the youngest of three kids. As a teenager was a nightclub singer, she would sing as she slipped out to do a show. Kari was 13 when she began her acting courses at Wooster School. Then, Kari enrolled at Tisch School of the Arts of New York University. Columbia University. Marymount Manhattan College. Kari began her journey into acting when she was 13 and got her breakthrough in 1987 when she appeared on MTV Remote Control.
