Harry Edward Styles, known to the world of music in the world of music as Harry Styles, is a British singer and composer known as being a part of the band One Direction. The father of Des Styles (father) and Anne Cox, Harry Styles was born February 1, 1994 in Holmes Chapel. Harry Styles studied at the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School in which he started his own musical band with 3 classmates. The band was named White Eskimo. The band won in 2009's Battle of Bands thanks to the excellent presentation they gave. Despite having been a fan of music, He also wished to become a lawyer or physiotherapist. To support the family he spent a short time working part-time at a baker's shop. Harry Styles was selected for The X Factor 2010 audition during which he performed the Stevie Wonder's hit song Is not She Lovely. It was for this reason that the group split. Nicole Scherzinger told Harry Styles, Liam Payne Zayn Milik Niall Horan, and Louis Tomlinson that they'd form the group One Direction after the X Factor audition. Simon Cowell sponsored the young group in 2010. The group performed songs like My Life Would Suck Without You by Kelly Clarkson and Total Eclipse of the Heart from Bonnie Tyler so the group were among the hopefuls for the prize. But they came in third, a place behind Rebecca Ferguson. Harry Styles, his group and Cowell were not able to take home the prize. However Cowell offered Harry Styles a 2 million dollar contract with Syco.
