Michael Torres who goes by the name Myke is a Puerto Rican musician and rapper. He was born on January 15, 1994, in Rio Piedras Puerto Rico. He changed his name in 2017 by changing his name from Mike Towers, to Myke Towers. It was done to honor the Young Kingz music group of which he is a member. The i of the name was substituted with a letter Y. Myke has been a participant in the underground scene of Puerto Rico from the time he was a teenager. His initial songs and freestyles were posted through SoundCloud. In 2014 he gained popularity through songs such as Dia de cobro Por Mi Es Normal and En los Bloques. The artist also attracted attention from the world of urban music with his performance of the freestyle La Nueva Droga and his interpretation of the original song 0 to 100 from Drake.
