Fearless was successful not only in the United States, having six platinum-certified songs. In fact, the Top Ten songs Love Story & You Belong with Me were the main reasons for this. It also performed very well across the globe. Swift's second album, Speak Now, released nearly two years following the first one, consolidated this success. The album propelled Swift to the heights of fame. Through her next three albums, Red (2012) 1989 (2004) and Reputation (2017) and Reputation, the popularity of Swift grew, and she found herself in a music scene with a clear sense of where she belonged. Although she slowed down the production of her folklore album, and Evermore albums in the year 2020, she was nevertheless leading the way in pop music.
