Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-Spanish and half-English woman was born on April 16th, 1996 in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor was a former banker. Jennifer Marina Joy worked as a psychotherapist. The father of her mother, who is Argentinan of Scottish and English descendant is also her mother. Her mother is of Spanish and English heritage. Taylor-Joy has four siblings from her father's previous marriage. They were originally located in Buenos Aires, but moved to Victoria when Taylor-Joy turned 6. Taylor Joy said the move from Buenos Aires, to Victoria was difficult, and she was not able to take the time to learn English in hopes of going back to Argentina. The school she attended had to be changed between Northlands and then Hill House. Then she attended Queen's Gate School in London and took ballet classes as well as participated in drama productions. After 16 she quit the school to pursue acting as a career. Taylor-Joy has always known she wanted to be an actor. Her dream was granted a opportunity by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management, who offered her an opportunity as a model.
